About the artist
Hi friends!
My name is Amber McKenzie & I create functional and artistic pottery in Monterey, California.
I started sculpting as a child, first out of polymer clay (as one does), and eventually transitioned into ceramics in the early 2000s in a family friends magical backyard studio. Flash forward to 2023 when I started classes at a local community center studio, where my love and admiration for the craft blossomed.
With the help of my mentors and peers, I’ve been fortunate enough to expand my life in the world of ceramics!
